The Cornwall Child Center is fully licensed by Connecticut’s Office of Early Childhood and holds accreditation from NAEYC (National Association for Education of Young Children).
CCC was founded in 1974 to serve the youngest members of the Cornwall community and its surrounding neighbors. It is a privately funded, nonprofit educational organization.
Our mission is to provide the best possible early childhood program offering a stimulating environment responsive to children’s natural curiosity, creativity, and desire to learn.
The Cornwall Child Center always welcomes new youth and families.
In both the summer and school year, we currently offer:
Ages 3 Months – 3 Years
Full Day 8am – 5pm
or Half Day 8am – 12pm
Encouraging activities that explore movement, discovering new words, and investigating the world around you.
Ages 3 Years – 5 Years
Full Day 8am – 5pm
or Half Day 8:30am – 1pm
Learning independence, self-expression, and social skills while following the state frameworks for preschool education.
Children are blessed at birth with an avid desire to learn about the world around them – a desire that, if nurtured, will lead to a lifetime love of learning. In planning our curriculum, we want each child to experience the success and joy that comes from finding answers to questions by exploring and discovering rather than by being told. In simple ways, if we as teachers convey a sense of wonder and delight in our world, children will respond the same way.
