The Cornwall Child Center is open to all children from the ages of 1 to 8. Our hours of operation is 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We enroll children from many areas of the northwest corner of Connecticut. We currently offer the following programs: Preschool Program: This program is designed for children 3 and 4 years of age. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. where children are encouraged to participate in guided free play. During the morning hours, the children have a snack and enjoy outside play in our fenced in play area. Their day is enhanced by stories, activities, music and movement. The children then eat lunch, followed by more outside play until 1:00 p.m. Many children will stay for extra hours in the afternoon, which will include rest time and more guided free play. School-Aged Children: The Child Center welcomes school aged children, including Kindergarten children after their school session. Tracy Gray provides wonderful and enriching activities for the children to participate in. Summer Enrichment Program: Our very popular Summer program will be held daily throughout 2010.
